PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Areas a Pediatric Occupational Therapist treats are:
- Fine motor such as handwriting, cutting, coloring, manipulating small objects
- Gross motor such as catching, throwing, kicking, riding a bike
- Balance, strength, endurance, coordination
- Self-help- such as dressing, toileting, grooming tasks
- Social skills-initiating conversation, engagement, taking turns, developing self/confidence
- Sensory Integration- self regulation and modulation of sensory input

Soccer Group (The soccer group will resume in Fall)

Location: Liberty Elementary in Plainfield

This group offers a fun, low-stress opportunity for kids to come play soccer with other peers and learn soccer skills, participate in games, and engage in social interaction. This group is designed to help children with Gross Motor Delays, Coordination Issues, Low Tone, Decreased strength, Decreased Endurance, Motor Planning Difficulties, Low Frustration Tolerance, Distractibility, Low Self-Esteem/Confidence and Social Interaction Concerns.
Karate Group
Date/Time: Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 Ages 5-10
Date/Time: Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 Ages 10+
